This web site is dedicated to Craig Lee Paterson born 1976 in Dechmont, West Lothian. Only son of
Matilda & Iain Paterson, brother to Vicki and uncle to Keiran.
Craig was the victim of a fatal motorbike crash on Wednesday 16th August 2006. in Perthshire.
Mr Paterson, from Crieff, who had been aiming to become a paramedic, was pronounced dead at the
scene.
His wife Claire described her former army medic husband as a fun-loving and devoted family man.
Mrs Paterson, 28, a staff nurse at Perth Royal Infirmary, said the couple had married just over a
year ago and were looking to start a family.
She said: "Craig was a real joker and was always playing pranks of one kind or another on
people. He had a great sense of humour.
"He wasn't one to follow the crowd and was never frightened to express how he felt."
The couple first met in 2001 when Mrs Paterson was in her final year as a student nurse and saw him
while she was out on duty with ambulance crewmen.
Two years later they met again and became a couple, before marrying in Perth in May 2005.
Mr Paterson, who was born in Dechmont, West Lothian, grew up in Fife and Perthshire.

Wait till you see the crimbo decorations I got for your headstone (Dont worry there very tasteful). I will hopefully make it out to see you before the dance cause I think we all might be a bit delicate the next day - although I am out on the thursday night too so fingers crossed.
I still come on this site with the sound turned down I still cant listen to the funeral songs it breaks my heart all over again.
Hope nobody is hogging the chocci biscuits up in heaven like I did when we were little,cause you know you've no chance of getting any when I join you up there (well hopefully I will make up there with you!!)

Hi son , well thats Vicki~s doors changed and the new ones fitted, now i have come home and done a few bits n bobs here as i have to get this room ready for aunt mary n uncle stu as they are coming up to stay a night as well as aunt margaret, cousins karen,chae, jen as well as christina with any luck for the bike dance x aye its that time again, vicki n wilma n sarah coming as well , but they are staying at wilma~s thank god. Hi son , not long finished work, made a big pot oh hame made soup so vicki is coming up tomorrow to pinch some,. Still seems strange not to see you or hear your voice or laughter,,,, dont think i will ever get used to that son,,just keeping busy and trying not to think to much. Dont know who said your brain gets less active as you get older, mine never stops???? although i do get forgetful at times hahaanyway i hope that you are all ok up there. Hi son , im back , seems a lot has happened in the week i have been away....... i am assuming that you your gran & grandad had a wee holiday with me as when we went on the cypriot cruise night they played Maria Laina which was your grans fav song , then on sunday night it was the Northern lights oh Aberdeen and then on the monday night ... yup you guessed..... it was Snow Patrol, If I Lay Here......when i came home on wednesday i told keeks i was flying higher than the clouds and he asked me if i saw you and your star cause i was so high ..... Bless... from the mouths of babes,,,,,,,i wish ...... Awe well nice thought.....now you have to take care oh aunty mary and uncle stew as they went on hol now..
